Alcohol use disorders identification test consumption (AUDIT C)

The AUDIT C questionnaire is a screening tool to check for hazardous alcohol consumption. If you score 5 or more, you should then complete the full AUDIT questionnaire that follows.

Scoring:

A total of 5 or more is a positive screen. Please complete the full AUDIT questionnaire.
0 to 4 indicates low risk
5 to 7 indicates increasing risk
8 to10 indicates higher risk
11 to 12 indicates possible dependence

Remember that your score doesn't give you a diagnosis. Your score can only suggest the presence of a potential alcohol use disorder. You should then see a healthcare professional for a proper assessment.
